How is your 2013 going? I hope it is going well and I hope it is going healthy...mine has been up and down, ya know the usual.
I know it's a little late for this, seeing as how it is March, but I thought I would briefly mention the progress I made in 2012.
Through working out and cooking/eating at home with more fruits and veggies, I ended up losing about 20 pounds...give or take 5 on any given day on the scale. It turns out the scale is not that scary as long as I work out regularly and watch the pigging out. I keep thinking 20 pounds isn't bad, it's better than nothing.
But that was progress for the WHOLE entire year and as I may or may not have told you I fell off the weight loss wagon in the summer. Had I not done that it could've been a heck of a lot more than 20 pounds! However, regret is no way to live life, so I will just be happy about it.
Yay! Good-bye 20 pounds and hello 2 dress sizes lower! The good news is I think the habit of eating at home has stuck, I rarely get carry outs or go out to eat with out a friend and when I do I try to make healthier choices.
But seriously, I'm going to really try harder and be more consistent in working out and healthy eating in 2013.
